Three Times a Day

As I said, not much goes on here at the beach. I awoke to capture the ocean in the morning, the sun rising over the Atlantic.

And here's what the same beach looks like at mid-day.

Then at the end of the day, looking southwest along the coast . . .

The beach is always interesting, even when nothing is happening.

You see the same thing here in Hawaii.

Nice, Tom. Three times a day, huh? That's a real vacation. :-)

I grew up on the Delaware Bay. I miss those sunrises and all day walks in the sand.

Pretty to watch, and I imagine very peaceful!

Lovely. Although the beach is great for a changeup vacation, I would seek a more lively venue as a permanent retirement base.

Tom the last picture looks like the pier at Folly Beach, SC? If it is I you meant looking Southeast because if you're standing on the East coast looking south, the ocean has to be on your left, which is East! LOL

Is there such a thing as too much rest and relaxation? No matter...you are taking some brilliant pictures!

Bruce -- You're good, that is the Folly Beach pier. But the coast in that area faces southeast, and when I stood there looking along the coastline, the compass on my phone said I was facing southwest ... confirming that the sun does indeed set in the west.

Would love to be there.
