What a difference ...

a day makes, when you say goodbye to Florida

and wake up, at home in New York.

You switched from color film to back and white film in one of those old fashioned camera's?

But you have a nice warm and cozy home to come to, I'm sure. But that is quite a difference, all right. :-)

Tom, as long as a person keeps on waking up (somewhere) it's all good.

I imagine that to an alien these would look like images from two separate planets.

Call me crazy, but the NY photo appeals to me more than the FL. (There must be a reason that you live in NY?)

We used to spend February every year in Florida. I remember waiting in the airport for our luggage to come out, and looking around, and concluding out loud that everybody in the north is ugly.
Everybody's gray, and wearing coats that they've barely taken off since the middle of November, and footwear that's half dark with wet and the other half white with dried salt.
Snowy trees are actually the upside, if you think about it.
