How Could I Be Hungry?

A picture is worth a thousand words. We recently went to Costco. We were in the checkout line and, well, this just struck me as funny ...

It is pretty funny, all right. All that food and the book make for an interesting juxtaposition. :-)

There must be a few things in tat cart to stop hunger. Funny picture.

We are a mixed up wealthy society. We should have the problems of hunger! Yes, it is funny, but lately I have no sense of humor. Sorry.

Yes, that's a good one.

In all fairness if you read the fine print, it has to do with dealing with cravings and eating healthy at the same time, something I try and know a little about (hello string cheese, cheese cubes and popcorn!!!)

I agree though about the picture.

You just have to talk about hungry and I get hungry. Funny though, when I go to the store, nothing looks good, nothing makes me think about buying groceries to take home and cook a delicious meal. I'm always thinking what can I open to eat. Shame, shame.

That is funny whatever the correlation between the book and the cart's contents with the person purchasing all. Would be interesting to know what that person's motivations were, but we can only speculate. Our conclusions may well be far from the reality.

Perhaps the book is a gift? Cosco is quite the place to shop. I buy very little there but do get the occasional deal.

I am the most happiest woman on earth, when i was having serious issues with my Husband, my marriage was falling apart and i was devastated. My Husband left home and it became a very big and difficult problem i almost died from heartbreak, i have to find a solution, I went to 5 different spell casters they all failed me, I really wasn’t sure anymore if spells were real so as i was making a search one faithful day, i saw some great reviews about Dr Abalaka I was a bit skeptical at first but I purchased a love spell from him and he said he will take his time to do a love spell that will bring my Husband back in 24 hour,No one could have ever made me believe as he said my Husband reconciled with me, I felt good to have my husband back, when he returned him said he would never leave me again...dr.Abalaka@outlook.com he is the best spell caster i can count on him when it comes to all kinds of spell..his email: dr.abalaka@outlook.com i see so many people testifying about his perfect work. thank you Dr Abalaka and may your Gods ever reward you for your good deeds.

Yeah, on the surface it seems funny, but if you eat primarily carbohydrates, you'll be taking in a lot of calories, store many of them as fat (because those carbs stimulate the release of insulin, which is primarily a "fat-storage" hormone). Carbs also suppress the production of ghrelin, a hormone that gives you a feeling of satiety. So: eat lots of carbs, still feel hungry because of their effect on your hormones and, thus, gain weight. Nasty cycle that can be cured with a lower-carb lifestyle.
