Where's Tom Sightings?

I'm taking a little vacation. (Hey, I'm retired, I can go on vacation whenever I want!). I'll give you one guess where I'm going ...

I'm not leaving until tomorrow. But, "In my mind, I'm already gone . . . ."

I love the Carolinas. Coming from the SW, there's they are so beautiful. I can't wait to hear about your travels.

MY Mom is buried in Statesville NC and we still have relatives there. Given NC is our home away from home, we adore this song. Of course, I know you are going to visit that rebellious colony where my baby boom brother was born in 1947.

PS if you haven't seen it, watch the film 'Junebug.' That's the Carolina I remember.

Enjoy your vacation -- wherever you go! And, why wouldn't you? Vacations are and life is an adventure -- might as well enjoy.

Asheville was our second choice of a place to retire following a detailed rating of quite a few areas. Have fun in a great state.

Meant to say that Savannah's City Hall sits on Bull Street, what a perfect location.
