Rain
Not much going on in our lives this week, except to watch the rain. We took a trip over to the Hudson River, where we took refuge in a riverside restaurant . . .
Later, when we got home, the thunderstorms arrived . . .
Watching raindrops! Ain't retirement exciting? I'm watching yet another tree being cut down. I think my neighbors are insane. Meanwhile the mortar is crumbling from the bricks on our house. Time to move? Or wait for Habitat for Humanity come to our rescue?
We needed the rain, too, but we lost a big branch on one of the trees in our backyard. The storms farther north were worse, with winds up to 70 mph; and what I didn't know when I posted these pics. was that a tornado touched down yesterday east of Syracuse, killing four people. Weather can be dangerous, so we need to be careful what we wish for. Be safe.
College is full of serious changes and you’ll be making many choices and be responsible for doing many things. This may be challenging, but with the right advice, you will succeed in college. www.solotravelapp.com |

ReplyDeleteToo bad those thunder showers aren't in California where they're in desperate need of rain. It's sunny and warm here in Oregon, today anyway.

ReplyDeleteWe've been in NYC for the last 3 weeks. Got to watch a great lightning storm on July 2nd. But now it's cramping our style a little.
