It took me about 20 years to finish the memoir but, I'm glad it's done and out there. It's amazing how falling back in time, and reliving some pretty awful things, can put you in a stop/start mode for a while.
Thanks again!
Barbarahammondartbizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16920876788382611136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-48577431577439501632019-04-22T11:35:49.000-04:002019-04-22T11:35:49.000-04:00Great list, Tom. It's not only the time you have to devote to the process of writing—it's the creative energy. And someone else who has been very busy is "Anonymous" He/She hit my comment page today (I blocked it so it didn't post!) and it also was on Bob Lowry's page. Anyone else. Someone is going to an awful lot of work spreading this message around. Meanwhile, as I said in my most recent post, according to research done in the U.K., women from age 65-79 are the happiest demographic of all. I'm guess that "Anonymous" doesn't fall into that age group (or gender!) ~KathyKathy @ SMART Living 365.comhttps://smartliving365.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-41842092696848994322019-04-20T17:54:40.028-04:002019-04-20T17:54:40.028-04:00Do you boomers realize how universally hated you a...Do you boomers realize how universally hated you are? There is not one single demographic that does not hate you- white people, black people, asians, mexicans, indians, chinese, millennials, GenX, GenZ. Something tells me that you boomers are not going to have a very comfortable or easy retirement, especially once you end up in the retirement homes.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-81646357742548173992019-04-20T16:37:51.613-04:002019-04-20T16:37:51.613-04:00I looked for Barbara Hammond's book at my libr...I looked for Barbara Hammond's book at my library website, but no luck. I'm wondering if any of these books address adjusting to physical challenges in our later years?

I was pretty clear cut on what I wanted to do in retirement and am achieving these goals one by one which is a thrill.

I agree with the premise that we have to be clear in our vision for our latter years, I've seen too many fritter and die, lost.

XO
WWWWisewebwomanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15281689872840844191noreply@blogger.com
