What shame that he and so many wonderful souls were lost before medical management of the disease became a reality. We have a dear young friend who is 28 and was infected with the HIV virus about ten years ago. He now has a wonderful partner whose previous life partner died of AIDS in 1992 and who was infected around that time. The two of them have a very active and hopeful life together now and, we hope, for many years to come. What a difference a few years can make in the battle against AIDS!Dr. Kathy McCoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02903015507894951725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-65281748810612773472011-09-10T17:41:42.979-04:002011-09-10T17:41:42.979-04:00How far we've come...remember when AIDS was a ...How far we've come...remember when AIDS was a death sentence? <br />Jann aka #1NanaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-74903473667172724352011-09-10T15:51:05.342-04:002011-09-10T15:51:05.342-04:00I knew who he was when I read the second line.
