I am always wanting to work for those very reasons. Of course the pay is good too. My husband works 20 - 30 hours a week. That is much more than I like him working, but it is what he likes to do, so I support him in it. He just wasn't made to retire.<br />Sally Wesselyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06470453773515491625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-22947895321989435492016-09-26T14:43:10.607-04:002016-09-26T14:43:10.607-04:00Tom,

Both Thom and I consider ourselves semi-retired because our work has evolved into the kind of work that gives us tremendous freedom and still brings in nice cash flow. The best of both worlds in our opinion. Plus, I actually think we enjoy our free time MORE after we've been working a bit. I'll bet you find that to be true. ~KathyKathy @ SMART Living 365.comhttp://smartliving365.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-83864465822429371512016-09-25T17:12:23.884-04:002016-09-25T17:12:23.884-04:00Consulting paid my bills for over 25 years. Ten years into retirement I landed a contract to write a history. The job lasted almost two years, the money was great, and I achieved what every writer yearns for--a published book.
