Then I saw the size of it in a book store and understood why it took so long to read-It's huge. Who knew that someone who seemed to be stoned 1/2 his life could remember so much.
I have a whole new respect for this incredibly talented musician who really just wanted to be a blues guitarist.
Read it but be prepared to cycle through a few pages, otherwise a must read for any Stones fan.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-69062489305035315482011-05-08T03:06:29.604-04:002011-05-08T03:06:29.604-04:00You ROCK, dude! :o)

Gimme Shelter floored me, and to this day, I consider it the best Rolling Stones song ever.

My hubby and I really enjoyed this clip, thank you! That book is on hold at the library and I can't wait to read it.

Did anyone here read Nick Mason's autobiography on Pink Floyd? That was also a fantastic read!Debnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-20178201060012900112011-05-05T12:17:21.568-04:002011-05-05T12:17:21.568-04:00Love it!!!!!!!! I...Love it!!!!!!!! Gotta have it -- and the book!

I tripped across a copy (new! albeit paperback) of "Stone Me: The Wit and Wisdom of Keith Richard" on a sale table a while back for a buck. The funny part is that the ex saw it and wanted to borrow it and I said, "OK". I happened by the same store a week later and looked to see if they had another and they did so I bought it and told the ex that he could keep his copy for helping me with my computer.

.Kay Dennisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02646717192332313215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-48231672404166001422011-05-04T22:25:29.733-04:002011-05-04T22:25:29.733-04:00Thanks for sharing the clip! So interesting that the Beatles, who have had such a musical influence over time, were together such a relatively short time and the Stones have rolled on for decades! Who would have ever thought in our youth that we'd see a 60-something Mick prancing around the stage?Dr. Kathy McCoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02903015507894951725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-72081155682817603962011-05-04T20:23:41.829-04:002011-05-04T20:23:41.829-04:00Yeah, they do represent a certain generation, don&...Yeah, they do represent a certain generation, don't they!Rosaria Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03133147851332084180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626594980028435818.post-56879759892827634252011-05-04T20:17:36.451-04:002011-05-04T20:17:36.451-04:00Yeah The Stones... not like all the crap people ar...Yeah The Stones... not like all the crap people are producing today (though I guess our parents said the same thing).Robert the Skeptichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10863488312604865183noreply@blogger.com
